The last major refit was performed by PrivatSea Projects during 1997 and 1998 when the owners decided to start chartering the boat. Because of the class requirements the ship was fitted with new fire proof materials and new fire detection systems among other required refit works. During the same period:

  • A new Jacuzzi was installed
  • A new Cinema was created on board
  • Complete refit of staff and crew cabins
  • Medical facilities were installed

During 2002 a complete refit of the owners' suite with new design was made and finally during 2004, PrivatSea Projects completely upgraded the onboard disco systems and a computer network for internet access in the guest areas was installed.
