M/Y ISSHAM AL BAHER, 115m

The last major refit was performed by PrivatSea Projects during 1997 and 1998 when the owners decided to Issham al Baher has undergone various refit and repair works during the last years. Recently during 2004 and 2005, PrivatSea Projects installed a swimming pool, and new teak decking on the sundeck and maindeck , removal and re-installation of fixed furniture, repair of the bulwark structure, upgraded also the navcom equipment with a new radar and Inmarsat Fleet 77 system and blasting, hull painting and steel plating replacement works were performed while at dry dock.

During the same period a class special survey was done and technical support services were provided by PrivatSea Projects for the complete overhauling of the engines and generators, the cleaning / coating / anodes of grids and sea chests, checking / cleaning / paint tunnel / anodes renew of bowthruster , steel thickness measurements (ultrasonic), tailshaft poker gauge and rudder clearance measurements. Finally the deck cranes, shaft propeller and steering system were repaired, c apstans and mooring equipment was rearranged, anchors and cables were cleaned and calibrated.
