What does it take to transform a 27-year-old yacht into a modern, luxurious vessel guaranteed to give its guests the cruising experience of a lifetime?

Some might say that refitting a yacht these days is easy - all it takes is the money to fund it. However, it takes a lot more, it takes experience, expertise, flair and flexibility.

Rapid Delivery : Making the vision a reality

The refit of 57-metre " S Cape " was delivered just 6 months after its owners gave the go-ahead - impressive compared to the market average of one year for such projects.

The PrivatSea team listened carefully to the owners brief and planned the project around the desire for a radical interior refit and exterior work to improve functionality and bring her up to date.

Transforming a labyrinth

Inside, a complex layout of partitions and different levels was eliminated by a totally new design to give clean aesthetics and a cool air of open space.

The lounge, suite and eight cabins catering for 14 passengers were sumptuously fitted with furnishings and accessories in wood shades, pastel tones and touches of gold to add a sense of sophisticated luxury. Changes were also made to the exterior, including an extension of the sun-deck to provide an outdoor lounge and dining area at the bridge deck, and the movement of the tenders from the bridge to the sun deck.

The metamorphosis of the " S Cape " into a contemporary yacht offering all the comforts and technological conveniences that a modern lifestyle demands - including full TV, video, audio and Internet facilities - was greeted enthusiastically.
