M/Y TACANUYA, 57mFollowing an unfortunate accident that M/Y Tacanuya was involved in August 2004 in Sardinia , Italy , damage occurred on M/Y Tacanuya on aft port side bar deck involving damaged aluminum bulwark and deck, caprail , wooden linings, wooden flooring, bar deck windows and some furniture. Non-permanent repairs were carried out at the time in Italy . As per Owner's request and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) recommendations, permanent damage repairs were made during the winter maintenance and repairs period (2004):
Aluminum plates renewal was made up to specifications from our appointed Naval Architect consultants, Messrs. Kappa Marine, and the entire claim works were made to the satisfaction of the ABS surveyor. The relevant ABS claim report was submitted to the underwriters. Additionally the Owner requested the following modifications and upgrades to be carried out on his vessel by PrivatSea Projects:
The maintenance works made during the same period and PrivatSea Projects provided services concerned Machinery and Deck & Hotel items as per the vessel's works lists as well as ABS surveys. |
