PrivatSea offers a wide-range of financial, legal and logistical advisory services, to accompany brokerage and charter transactions. These services are offered on a stand-alone basis or as part of a comprehensive acquisition program.

In addition, PrivatSea offers owners operational management services following the acquisition of their yacht. The operational costs, in part, can be seamlessly off set by chartering the yacht through PrivatSea’s Central Agency and chartering services.

Crew Training

PrivatSea offers complete crew training programs. Of particular interest is the curriculum for stewards, house-keepers and interior staff where crewmembers are briefed in yachting-standard etiquette and comportment. Refresher courses are offered to experienced yacht crew while complete training courses are offered for new crew members.

Training seminars can be arranged on a yacht-by-yacht basis or crewmembers can participate in scheduled seminars organized by PrivatSea.

Crews aboard PrivatSea’s management fleet and charter yachts are all fully certified and especially trained in “Yachting” procedures and service. Crews undergo extensive instruction and training to provide our owners and charterers the best in luxury yachting service.

Accounting Support

PrivatSea provides full accounting services to yachts in our management fleet including:

Annual budget
Quarterly expense statements
Annual Statement
Repair cost reconciliation. Appropriate
Tax statement preparation (where necessary)

Audits and Surveys

In-house Audits and surveys of every vessel under our management is a matter of routine. Each vessel has its own Manual of Operation (MOP) which is drawn up to fit the unique needs of each vessel is tailored to its owner’s specific needs and parameters. Under the watchful eye of the PrivatSea Management Team our Yachts are constantly monitored for adherence to their MOP which of course includes compliance with all mandatory Flag and Class Society regulations.

Marine Insurance

PrivatSea secures the best insurance rates for yachts in the management fleet as well as for yachts interested in benefiting from the economy-of-scale rates we offer for our yachts. Megayachts require coverage for Hull & Machinery, P & I, War Risk and commercial vessels re quire Passenger Liability.

24-hour Response

Designated Person Ashore (DPA)

PrivatSea provides a 24-response number for our Owners, Captains and Charter clients. A senior staff member is on duty at all times to respond to any emergency that might arise.

It’s not always an emergency that requires immediate assistance but very often a quick call to someone who “knows”, saves not only time and money but avoids inconvenience during a vacation cruise.

Emergency Medical Services

PrivatSea arranges for emergency medical service and evacuation services if the need arises. These services are available on a subscription basis offered at beneficial rates. We hope we never have to use it but it’s comforting to know that it’s there when you need it.
